Join us in Historic Downtown Sweetwater for our annual Small Town Christmas on Saturday November 25th, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Enjoy horse & buggy rides, pictures with Santa in the depot visitors center, Christmas shopping in the downtown businesses, antique fire truck and marshmallow roast, trackless train rides by Little Pete’s Railroad, festive lights and decorations, live music and entertainment and LOTS more! New this year, enjoy story time with Belle at the north entrance of the festival, ProJam Piano Christmas edition (location to be announced), meet and greet character area and appearances by the Grinch. We will also have various local groups singing Christmas carols throughout the walkable festival area. Also new this year will be the first annual Christmas Critter contest! If you have a fur pet and want to enter them into the contest, please show up the day of at 5 p.m. in the duck park at the bandstand to register for the contest. The contest will begin at 5:30 and there will be various categories that will each have a winner (prizes to be announced soon). We encourage you to dress your pet up in Christmas themed wear and get into the spirit! Judges and an emcee will be on-site to assist with the contest and we can’t wait to see what you come up with for the fur members of your family! You can even get a pet photo with the Grinch ($10) Admission to Small Town Christmas is FREE!
