About this event:
Annual Victorian-inspired Christmas celebration held by the Cherokee Women’s Club and the Town of Tellico Plains.
Stroll through streets illuminated by the glow of candlelight. Take a ride on one of the wagons, enjoy live entertainment at the gazebo, decorate a cookie, pay a visit to the Grinch, view the live nativity, shop at the silent auction or the vendors, watch the Christmas tree lighting, and have your picture taken with Santa Claus.
Downtown merchants open their doors and put out refreshments to be enjoyed by all.
One of the highlights of the evening is stopping by the Cookie Caper to buy fresh baked cookies and candies, all prepared by the ladies of the Cherokee Women’s Club. Proceeds from the sale go back into the community for college scholarships, town beautification, library support, poetry and essay contests and other opportunities that may need support during the year.
